Why wait? Come in and get acquainted with us!
Parents often assume they must wait until their child has all of his or her permanent teeth before seeing an orthodontist. However, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that an orthodontist first evaluates a child as early as age 7. This initial exam has invaluable benefits, but more likely than not Dr. Tendler‘s recommendation will simply be “let’s wait and see” while the face and jaws continue to grow. If that’s the case, your child will become part of the Kids Club program.
Orthodontic Observation Program
Kids Club is a recall program, where patients get the opportunity to learn more about orthodontics and to familiarize themselves with our office and staff members while they wait for the right time to start their orthodontic treatment.
How the Recall Program Works
Patients will come into our office every 6 months for an orthodontic evaluation and will get acquainted with the prospect of orthodontic treatment in the future. Keeping the family “orthodontically aware” makes the entire process less intimidating and much more comfortable for our patients. It also gives us the chance to review oral hygiene in anticipation of a potential treatment. Plus, every patient in our Kids Club will get to participate in our awesome Perfect Perks rewards program.
